A claim looks wrong
Tell us. In the app, open the product and use “Something here is wrong”. Every claim is recorded against a source, so a report gets checked against that source rather than argued about.
Claims change when the evidence changes. If you can point at a filing, an about page, or a news article, that speeds it up enormously.
A product is missing
Search for it in the app and use “Ask us to add it”. The catalogue is built category by category, and requests decide which category we do next.
Why does it say “stores not yet confirmed”?
Because we have not confirmed where that product is sold. We know a retailer’s own house brand is carried at that retailer’s stores, so those are certain. For a national brand, whether a particular chain stocks it is a fact about a shelf, and we will not guess at it.
Why does it not know where I am?
Because the app never asks unless you tap “Use my location”. You can also type the first three characters of a postal code, or pick a province, or tell us nothing at all — the app works either way and simply claims less.
When you do share a position, it is rounded to about a kilometre before it leaves your device.
Why are there ads?
They pay for the app, which is free and has no subscription. Every paid unit is labelled, there is at most one per screen, and ranking is never for sale — no advertiser can buy a higher position. See the Terms for what that commits us to.
I represent a company in the app
If a claim about your company is wrong, write to us and we will re-check it against the source. If you are not in the app and think you should be, tell us about your company.
Privacy
See the Privacy Policy. Short version: no accounts, no tracking across apps or websites, and advertisers receive nothing about you.
